Skarmory (Japanese: エアームド / Airmd) is a dual-type Steel/Flying Pokémon, and is one of the official Pokémon featured in Pokémon Vega.

It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.

Overview

Aside from a few new techniques, Skarmory still holds to be one of the strongest walls in this game, thanks to its excellent bulk, great typing, and reliable recovery.

In Pokémon Procyon and Deneb, Skarmory gained an Evolution, which sports even higher defenses (160 Defense and 85 Special Defense), and phenomenal Attack and Speed at 100.

Skarmory will be borderline insane in these games since it will be able to receive the effects of Eviolite, effectively functioning as a Chansey with actually good Special Defense thanks to Eviolite and it cannot be Toxic stalled due to its Steel typing. However, Skarmory's Evolution does have its own tools to set itself apart from Eviolite Skarmory, such as 100 Attack and Speed, which means faster Brave Birds, Roosts, and Taunts, unlike Blissey, where it eventually gets outclassed by Eviolite Chansey.
